 Laurel, Maryland – A new store opened on the quaint Laurel Main Street October 31, 2005 with a successful grand opening.  The store, deanna Tee™ located at 407 Main Street, was previously a mail order massage supply and equipment company.  The transition to a storefront was in response to its customer’s needs and the continued growth of the massage, spa, and salon industry. 

 In December 2000, Deanna began deanna Tee™ with one product.  Her years of experience as a manual physical therapist inspired her to invent and patent a massage glove, GLoSSAGERS™.  She eventually sold her glove to head athletic trainers in the NFL, massage therapists, physical therapists, a hand surgeon and to couples. 

 While on maternity leave in 2002 the company received numerous telephone inquiries from people interested in purchasing massage tables and massagers.  After her maternity leave she expanded the company’s product line to include massage tables and massage supplies that included bolsters, oils, lotions, organic massage cream, and stools. 

 The growth of the massage industry has prompted increased calls to deanna Tee™ from potential customers who wanted a more personal experience when purchasing a massage table.  Customers were no longer satisfied with viewing the massage tables on the Internet or in a catalog, ordering, and then waiting 7-10 days to receive their table.  Customers wanted to view, feel, select, and pick up their massage table immediately.  In response to the continued growing needs of customers the new store has massage tables on display.  The product line has expanded to include 100% soy candles, warming massage oils, and selective products from the Kama Sutra product line to appeal to couples desiring a fun romantic experience.  “When people visit our new store, they have a fun, sensory stimulating experience.  We offer products for professionals and look forward to enhancing romance for couples with busy schedules,” stated Deanna.
